Apple may offer a version of the final build of its Boot Camp software as a fee-based product for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger users.

The company has always promised to release the software as part of its forthcoming Mac OS X 10.5 ‘Leopard’ OS, which ships later in spring.

Until now, Boot Camp — which lets users of Intel-based Macs install and run Windows in a separate partition — has been available as beta software for use with Mac OS X 10.4.

A report today claims the final build of the software will be made available to Tiger users for a $29.99 fee, meaning users won’t have to rush to Mac OS X 10.5 if they want to use Windows on their Mac.

I want to ask.. “But what about Window users coming to the Mac Platform?” How would they feel about paying more?
