Gizmodo has posted a feature entry with tips and tricks for those of us planning Super Bowl parties this weekend. I’ll be hosting one but since I never watch TV on a big screen (just on my Macbook with EyeTV), I had to go through a lot to make the party happen. Here’s the lowdown.

Rental: 65″ Mitsubishi projection TV at 1080P
HD box from Time Warner (picking it up today)
and 5.1 surround sound in a box from Wal*Mart

For my guests, I’m also going to have a fajita bar, drinks and general items. Plenty of seating, food and high definition excitement for all guests to enjoy. It should be fun and I’m glad Gizmodo posted the tidbit.
