My plan is that over the next month, everything about DailyTechTalk is going to change. In fact, every part of the blog network will be changing for the better. I need your help! I’ve been emailing design agencies in an effort to recruit some talent for this huge undertaking. If you or someone you know has the skill, just send us an email (adam@dailytechtalk.com) and it would be very appreciated.
I feel the following is the job for only one person but I might need a helping hand on some things.
The following sites need to be redesigned:
1. DailyTechTalk.com
2. AdamJacksonLive.com (changing to a hub for my 24/7 lifecast)
3. ResoluteOpinion.com
4. MacworldBound.com
5. AdamandLauraGoWest.com
I’m launching two new websites:
1. DTTMedia.net (Hub of my blog network w/ job openings, advertising info, stats and links)
2. DailyTechTalkShow.com (A new site and a new podcast as an extension of DailyTechTalk)
All sites except adamjacksonlive and dttmedia.net will be based on Wordpress. I need someone to use this info to migrate DailyTechTalk from Pmachine to Wordpress (maintaining all comments and blog entries). I also need a backend ad system setup where I can manage ads across all sites within one system. I have a system now but it’s seperate for each site. Finally, I need to get the DailyTechTalk message board launched to match the new DailyTechTalk look and feel.
COMPENSATION:
A) Name your price. Really, just name your price and we’ll work it out.
B) 1-3 years of free advertising in a prominent banner on every single webpage and a link to your site at the bottom of each page.
C) A combination of both in exchange for a discount on the design fee.
Once again, this seems like a huge undertaking but I’m using the Gawker Media model for this new network. All of the sites have the exact same look aside from the logo and color scheme. It’s all across one system. Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I wanted to also add some info about our site’s traffic.
During the month of June, we had 90 thousand unique visitors and 190 thousand page views.
For the entire year of 2008 (January through June 28th) we had 600 thousand unique visitors and 1.3 million page views. We’re growing too
