Amazing RAZR Deal

When someone sees this in their RSS feed they usually skip over thinking I'm pimping warez but I was on Amazon today and saw a great deal on a D&G; branded RAZR. I'll run down the features and see what everyone thinks about buying advice. A friend wanted to get this and I'm curious if its worth it.

Motrola RAZR V3i (the newest model)
1.23 megapixel camera
512Megabytes via a MicroSD slot
built in Apple iTunes software w/ iTunes synching built right in
Gold finish with more vibrant screen than previous RAZR

The retail price is $1,999 and its sell on amazon for $379.99. A fantastic deal indeed. I admit that you can get a RAZR with a service plan for near free and the V3i which just came out to the US for a mere 100 bucks but this is the Dolce & Gabbana phone that retails for 2 grand and on top of that, this phone is unlocked so you can use it with any GSM carrier. What do you guys think?

Check it out via Amazon

I guess if you wanted that phone it's a good deal. I personally do not like the RAZR at all. It's flimsy and missing features I can get in a similar priced PDA phone. I think this model is interesting for it's obvious designer reference, but other than that it's just another crappy RAZR IMO.

Agreed. The RAZR is a lackluster phone in the way of features. The addition of more internal storage, iTunes a better camera and also this phone has the gold finish with the bluetooth headset. It's a fantastic deal but I could by a Treo or HTC for that price but not everyone needs tose features in a phone. Its a matter of opinion and after seeing this, I had to post a blip.

Yeah I imagine the RAZR has massive appeal for it's "cool" factor. If you were going to get one, this would be the one to get.
