Welcome to 2007
In 2006, portable entertainment boomed, GPS was made accessible to everyone for ultra cheap, everyone got a portable audio player of some sort and Windows Vista finally shipped! What's next for 2007? Only time will tell. I expect everyone to switch to 1 terabyte hard drives as a standard purchase meaning that you'll go to Staples and see 500 gigabyte and 1 terabye options for external disk storage, 2gbs of ram will be minimum and everyone will be cruising the world wide web via 3g mobile handsets. I also know for certain that a new medium will present itself that we won't believe that we lived without. In 2004, it was Gmail. In 2005, everyone had a myspace account and in 2006 YouTube was the place for exchanging video. 2007 should have something in store but the cool thing is that no one knows what the next killer app is. Stay tuned, 2007 is gonna rock!
