American Idol's Simon Cowell prefers TV to music and iPods !

X-Factor judge and pop music impresario Simon Cowell this morning admitted he doesn't like music or iPods. The multi-millionaire brainchild behind the X-Factor (UK) and American Idol (USA) shows is 47-years old and said he doesn't even know how an iPod works and that he doesn't listen to music at home... The 47-year-old admitted that he doesn't have the first idea how to even work an MP3 player.

Simon said: "I don't know how to work a computer or an MP3 or what do you call them? An iPod. I do not want to know. "The idea of auditions for 14 hours, listening to people murder Stevie Wonder, then putting on my iPod. No! I can't do it!"

Cowell claims that he can happily spend weeks not listening to music and he much prefers watching TV. He added: "Guys reach a point in our lives when we prefer TV to music. If you work at a fish-and-chip shop, you're not going to eat fish and chips at night, are you?!!"

Perhaps someone should introduce Simon Cowell to an Apple Store... now, there's an idea!
