Green my Apple and more
I attended my fifth Macworld last month and I align with Raines Cohen when he thinks we should be more conscious of the damage we are doing to the world by allowing corporations to create products that are harmful. Raines posted this in an outreach to the Mac community asking us to do our part. He links to some great resources and closes with Mac users are cultural creatives, key influences, opinion leaders. It's up to us to get engaged to make a difference. Can we make next world's Expo carbon-neutral? Let's get started now. I think we owe it to ourselves to come together as a community to make energy conservation a reality and make corporations strive to do their part as well. Raines is not the first person to step up. Greenpeace has launched GreenMyApple and held demonstrations at Apple events to get the word out. I am behind Raines' words and I hope we can make the energy efficient dream a reality.
