Welcome to 2007: DTT Style

I made a ton of changes to DTT today. I worked all weekend to get things rolling in a way that helps our readers stay connected with us at all time. We're using Libsyn for our podcasts and Pheedo for RSS feeds. The first reason I moved to these services is redundancy. The ability to keep everyone informed and branch our services out so if one service dies, not everything goes with it. The second reason is statistics. Our new podcasting and RSS service tracks where people come from, what they're using to get our content and accurately helps me know a bit more about readers / listeners. I'm using Mint for site statistics and its been very helpful but I had no idea how many listeners we had or how many people were subscribed to our RSS feed.

I also like that if DTT has an hour of downtime, our podcast and RSS feed will still be active. These changes are worth it to me and I hope you can all benefit from the work I've done on the backend. Love the new style! and the sidebar (check the right hand side!!) with access to the RSS feed, the 'offical' new DTT widget (only for Mac Users) and Podcast's! - well done dude!
