33 hours with no internet...
I am hella tired from the trip this weekend. If you're a subscriber of Adam Jackson Live you would have known all about this weekend. Anyway, I left town at 12PM on Saturday and at 10PM I'm writing this. I was connected to email via my Treo but the hotel that had Wi-fi was experiencing technical difficulties. Here's what we have after 33 hours with no internet. Click "Full Story".

RSS: I generally deal with about 300 new RSS items on weekdays and weekends are generally slower in terms of news. However, my dock is notifying me of 136 new RSS items that I must read tonight because tomorrow there will only be more.
Email: I responded to emergency items but I still have 34 email messages that are "relevant" and must be responded to.
Twitter: Let's not even begin... There are about 15 pages of past twitters from my 105 "friends" that I am following. Sorry everyone but I will not read old twitters this time.
Social Network sites: Justin.TV archives, Myspace, Virb, Facebook and so many more I have to do. I'm not going to catch up to Justin.TV and will probably not deal with social messages until tomorrow evening.
Podcasts: You guys record a bunch of stuff! I have more content than ever. I'm usually only a day behind but there's a lot of content being downloaded by iTunes and I'll have to listen to the podcasts at my desk meaning I won't be able to dedicate attention at 100%.
I am just surprised how much information comes to me. Imagine no Internet for a week. :O

yes imagine the world without the internet - how strange that place sounds!
you go away for a few hours/days and suddenly upon your return, you find you need a few days, just to catch up on the 'important' net catch up..
A few years ago.. ask yourself "what were you doing without.. Myspace.. rss and Podcasts..?" - now back to 2007, and you will see how much your life revolves around technology!
