Macworld 2008 Official Travel Information
I wanted to start with a huge thanks to Gerard and the staff at the Adelaide Hostel for their support of DTT year after year for our Macworld Coverage. We've worked out special pricing for this year's event and it's very simple to get significant savings on all room sizes during the week of Macworld 08.
it's very easy to get the savings. When you're booking your room over at http://adelaidehostel.com just place "DailyTechTalk's Macworld Group" in the special instructions box on the reservation form.
Pricing: Expect to save a few bucks off the already low price of the hotel. To be honest, when a private room is only $60 bucks, five dollars off a night is 10 percent off. I can't give you exact pricing but even with the discount, expect to pay around what the website says due to San Francisco's huge hotel tax.
The Adelaide offers 24 hour service, free breakfast and free Wi-fi. They offer 3, 4 or 6 person dorm rooms and private rooms. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions. Gerard says to book early because that week will be completely sold out very soon.
