Macworld 2008 Update
Don't worry. Things haven't been forgotten. We're still doing Macworld coverage and we'll have at least one correspondent in attendance. Sam Downie is certainly going this year and I'm working out my travel plans right now. There's so much to do and I've increased my load more this year than ever.
Parties: I've been getting a few emails about parties and events. The low-down is that you can attend any of our events and they're all free! I'll be adding a sidebar to the site in the coming weeks with the complete party schedule. In addition to the normal DTT parties, I'm going to be pimping a mother load of additional meetups / events for other blogs and companies. I've been working with 4 other groups and am planning their parties for them some of which may not happen but we'll see. I still have a few minutes in my day for another project so if you're looking to throw a Macworld party, let me know and I can assist. Coverage: I'm working out a deal to stream the entire week live on the internet and I won't have a definite answer on that until Mid-December so stay tuned. We will, however, be providing daily photos from our iPhones and from DSLRs. There's also the daily podcast / videocast and we'll have the usual boring articles :)
Scheduled: The team is arriving on Sunday the 13th of January and leaving on Saturday the 19th. If you or your company want to grab lunch, pimp your warez or would like us to talk about your products just send us an email to [email protected] and it will be put in the schedule.
DTT Podcast took a hiatus due to all of the Macworld coverage but it will be returning the first week of December. Sit tight. Macworld 2008 is going to be the best conference ever!
