Xsilva Releases LightSpeed 2.5 (Kick-Ass POS for The Mac)
I don't generally do product announcements for people and I receive a lot of press releases in my inbox but when someone takes the time to call me and talk about their product and references a conversation I had with them in January of last year it makes me happy and I had to post this on the main page and no this is not their press release but written in my own words. Enjoy and check out their website.
Xsilva is a developer out of Montreal, Canada and they make the most beautiful POS application for the Macintosh. They've announced version 2.5 of their LightSpeed software. The highlights include full Leopard support, integration with the iPhone, cover flow (which I've grown to love since moving to Leopard) and store integration with QuickBooks. There's hundreds of new additions under the hood.
All of the features can't be covered in one post and sadly I'm not in the capacity to review it but the demo at MWSF07 of LightSpeed 2 was fantastic and 2.5 takes it up a notch. You can see it in person at MWSF 08 on the show floor. They've launched today so head over to their site and get your fill of every feature. Xsilva's LightSpeed 2.5.
