DVDs finally overtake VCRs
With so much next-gen format player coverage on all of the gadget sites, I had forgotten that the war that began at the turn of the century between VCR and DVD was still waging on. PRnewswire is reporting that for the first time, DVD players have finally beat VCR players in households. It took almost a decade so I guess I shouldn't rush to get my hands on a blu-ray player just yet. I've got ten years before DVD is not cool.
