Macworld: We're Just Getting Started
This is my 6th Macworld Expo and I'm writing this on Tuesday the 15th at 1:30AM. I've never slept on the eve of Stevenote so this year is no different. Unfortunately, to get every bit of content on the site, I'm forced to not sleep on some nights. By Thursday I have to sleep in but it has rough and we're only on Tuesday morning.
My plan for coverage? Podcasts, photos and articles. This is what our team does every year but for the first time ever, we've added a live 2/47 stream. We have three cameras. One of these cameras is from Justin.TV, another from Mogulus.com and a final Nokia N95 phone that uploads via Qik.com. I don't plan on streaming the keynote. Everyone keeps asking so you can stop doing so now.
There's a lot to do and to cover. Over 400 exhibitors and we're going to hit a lot of places. Frankly, I'm tired of typing this stuff to you all so the live stream will certainly assist in that. I can do interviews from the show floor and make those into episodes that you all can play back later instead of having to read my articles.
This is an exciting time to be a Mac user and I'm glad you could join us for our 6th annual Macworld coverage.
