MobileMe
I purchased MobileMe at the Apple Store today. When I purchased the iPhone they offered it to me for $69 dollars but told me that if I came back and say that I just bought an iPhone, I'd get the discount. It has just been installed and the setup was as easy as it gets.
The key to an enjoyable experience with Apple products is to wait it out. Don't get an iPhone the first day, activate MobileMe as soon as it comes out or install OS updates 5 minutes after they are released. My girlfriend Laura just bought the iPhone 3G yesterday for herself and the activation was done in 5 minutes and we were out of there. All it takes is patience.
I don't have any feedback yet on how well the product works but if you want to send me emails to acjackson at me dot com we can chat it up. It's the only email address I have that doesn't get 500 messages a day so expect some quick responses. Plus, this allows me to test out the speed of push email.
