Jupitor - Audio
Now here is a company I guarantee you have never heard of. They are called Jupiter Audio and one of their products is called the Callisto. It is essentially a set of two speakers that look like they just were made 10 years ago before plastic was slapped on speakers and called a product. I can tell that these speakers took time to build and that is why they sound so much nicer. One of the speakers has an amplifier in the rear of it so it can be wired to a reciever or auxillary input device such as an iPod. The left speaker connects to the right and the right speaker connects to the input device.

I noticed the speakers sound very clear but lack bass. He high sounds were great but the lows were not well represented. I had this wired to my iPod via the Auxillary inputs and also to my iPod via my Marantz Reciever so I could adjust bass and treble levels.
The finish is beautiful as well. I noticed that the finishing clearly has more than one layer on it, which really makes it stand out.
The speakers also cant reach a very loud volume without distorting. A handy feature included was that the system automatically goes into standby mode when no sound signal is being sent through after a while. Also, while the speakers look small, they are in fact very large. They were meant to be placed on the floor. Its not that easy to see that these are not desktop speakers while looking at the picture.
The people at Jupiter really know a lot about sound and want customers to have great sound in their homes. http://www.jupiter-audio.com/
